Annual Day of Evolution: "Expanding Competence and Confidence in our work with *GLBITQ2-S youth"

There is a continuous need to work collaboratively and plan with allies, advocates, and providers to effectively address the health, mental health, and social welfare of Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Transgender, Intersex, Questioning, 2-Spirited youth. These youth experience conditions such as, violence, poor service delivery, and apathy. All Allies, practitioners/clinicians play a critical role in promotion of full inclusion of GLBTIQ2S youth. The Lunch and Learn sSeries of the FOF/HC brings together active organizations to create an unified system of care.
Youth Panel topics, In their own voices: What supports did I really need?:
Youth will discuss and share what they really think about present levels of inclusion, support, and empowerment. The attendees will discover ways of fighting stigma; and other resources they may be able to provide to this vulnerable population.

The Fed of Families/HC is a chapter of the National FFCMH is an organization that advocates, supports, leads and prepares youth and families to be equal partners in the planning and delivery of services in behavioral, mental and medical healthcare. The national slogan of "Family Driven and Youth Guided" is realized via this important forum which is addressed in the youth logic model.
The FOF/HC is a program funded by the Children's Board of Hillsborough Co. "Dreams worth Growing"
